My prediction.
FA will blitz qualifying, and be on pole.
He'll lead the race from the front, and win.
However LH comes home second, with the fastest lap, and wins the Championship.

Forq Ferrari more like.

and would like to see the one driver who just gone on with his job properly all year win the title.
Someone who'd done the job properly all year wouldn't have left it to the last race to decide the championship in their favour, anyway.
I said he'd done his job, ferrari might not have done theirs, too busy trying to win the championship by making sure their nearest rivals get disqualified.

...Hamilton being investigated by the stewards at Brazil due to using too many tyres in free practice :0

That'll put him down to at least 10th place, should spice up the race a bit more, not that it needed it smile

I won't predict what will happen as that is fairly pointless being as I don't have any data to back it up (although XFM has been telling me Hamilton is 5th fastest).

However this is what I would like to see:

1. Massa (as it is his home race and he seems a nice guy)
2. Hamilton (so he comfortably takes the championship and he and Massa seem like good buddies so will both seem genuinely happy and probably have a laugh on the podium)
3. Alonso (so that we can see his miserable face as Hamilton is celebrating taking his championship title and title of youngest ever F1 champion)

Please please please God, can you make that happen in this Sundays race? Amen

This is a Ferrari circuit since the bumps were removed.

I think Massa will be on pole with a very light car with Kimi second on the grid and heavier. Kimi will then "overtake" Massa and build a huge lead whilst Massa unexplainedly slows down and doesn't let the McMercs past (he has previous with both so will be very happy doing this).

Without incident it will finish Kimi, Massa, Alonso, Hamilton. The number one driver in each team leading his team-mate.
But I expect an incident. As do 99% of the people reading this.

Fastest lap Alonso when he gets some clean air and the bit between his teeth.

from Autosport.com:

World championship leader Lewis Hamilton is one of three drivers under investigation by the race stewards at the Brazilian Grand Prix for breaching the wet weather tyre rules.

McLaren's Hamilton, Honda's Jenson Button, and Super Aguri's Takuma Sato were deemed to have used two sets of wet weather tyres during the first free practice session at Interlagos, in breach of the Sporting Regulations.

Article 25.3 of the F1 Sporting Regulations states: "No driver may use more than one set of wet and one set of extreme weather tyres during P1 and P2."

Of course, that could mean that a driver may not use two sets of each in each of P1 and P2.
It is a perfectly proper use of English to interpret this rule as saying that "one may only use one set of each type in each of P1 and P2".
If they meant, "one may use no more than a total of one set of each in the combined P1 and P2", then they should have written it that way.

Well something has changed since 1st practise, Alonso, Coultard and Webber all putting sub 1:17 times in currently, compared to Kimi's 1:19.5 fastest earlier.

Possibly a lack of water.
Ferrari are going to struggle in the twisty duck bill section, especially as they like to run low wing for the up hill finishing straight(ish), Mclaren are going to win easily unless Alonso goes completely bonkers.
Oh well, next year...

The track was declared wet at the start of the session but by the way the times are falling I think you're right. - Heidfeld on 1:14.4

Look at Kubica!

No one can get rid of him - he's a tenth up on Lewis.

Maybe my bizarre, missed the race but turned on the tele in time to see the podium spoiler dream was accurate.

Hamilton on the top step with Kubica second and Heidfeld third, in case you're interested. Which you probably aren't.

Trouble with that is that they can over take at Interlagos. The main straight is long enough and the first corner wide enough that if Hamilton or Alonso is within sniffing distance at the exit of the last corner they'll be past him, and especially for Alonso, it's very much worth the gamble at this stage of the championship.

ETA: That % is a real nuisance

Must be completely dry now and practising the fast runs - LH fastest with 1:12.7 MS holds the lap record with 1:12.1 - but that was with bumps.

Obviously parallels with the last 3 way title shoot out

http://youtube.com/watch?v=xhlCKunj-DA

Whether that's good for McLaren, or bad for a team with big internal rivalries I don't know, but worth watching just for Murray Walkers bizzare yelling.

I can remember that race! I was 8

Probably him that reported it. Funny isn't it, Ferrari went out on the wrong tyres in Japan and nothing happened and that was during the race proper.

Just what we have come to expect. In fairness, Ferrari get a drive through penalty though didn't they?
