The Cerb has been invited to race at Snetterton on 4 November in the PRO-MIL GT Cup. A JV with MSVR and Haynes for cars that originated as GT or closed top production sports cars. Two 30 minute races.

Power to weight is the same as our Class B at 300 bhp per tonne at the wheels. So basically this is an absolute match for a Cerb.

Entries have a selection of Astons, Marcoses, Maseratis etc but there are already 6 Ferrari 360s and 9 Porsche GT3s and growing!

It will be interesting to see how we get on, Andy APM is of course doing the fettling which includes welding back on the bits that came loose at Brands plus the six pot brakes.

I'll keep you posted as to how we get on!

We're hoping to do this one as well. Joo is currently pulling the engine out of the car and hoping to fit a 'loan' motor in time. I doubt we'll be anywhere near the 300bhp/tonne ATW mark but I'm more than happy to put the T350 up against the Fezzas and 911GT3 cars. I've been looking at some of the times for these cars and several of them can run very low 50 / 51 sec laps of Brands Indy so it'll be tough. The series looks good and if they get it off the ground for next year it's most likely where I'll do most of my racing in 08.

Both Cliff and I are racing, great news to have two of us out there. We are in Group B which will give us a fair chance of getting a result albeit Cliff is running an unfettled engine that is down on power to his last one.

We'll be based by my white truck at the top end of the paddock by the Park Ferme and scrutineering bays.

Currently on the train to fetch the car and truck from Andy APM, so getting very excited!

See you there!

this engine is slightly up on the last one, but as it's still 70bhp shy of what TVR claimed for it I don't think it can in any way be called a powerhouse hehe
