How to solve F1's problems

Trust me, F1 isn't racing. Go to Brands, Donington, Oulton, Snetterton, god even go to Silverstone if you have to and watch a race. Then you'll see why F1 is such a con. Don't forget to brush your teeth...
My what a nice chap you are. Begin your rant with a post that contains three factual inaccuracies about current F1. Follow that up with the accusation that the rest of us (bearing in mind this is PH) and Joe Public en masse have no clue about driving, racing or cars in general because 20 years ago you worked for a second rate team (worst I worked in F1 thread, ever) and therefore wrote the book. Then cap it off with abuse anyone of who suggests that this season may have been interesting.
Grand slam of cockdom. Congrats.

the way to improve F1 (and any racing for that matter) is to make following another car closely an advantage rather than a disadvantage. so reduced aero.
reduced aero also means engines don't need to be so powerful so cost saving and brakign distances will increase, cornering speeds decrease and grip will not suddenly be lost upon grounding / lost wings, so safety will be increased. and cars will slide more which is always a good thing.
proper slicks are a step in the right direction, as is the ban on electronic controls - we want to see the best drivers in teh world showing us their skill, not being helped out by 20 guys on the computer racks.

Well, there will be no more power - engine specs are frozen....

Beyond that point I believe the actual amount of fuel will be dictated so the teams have a finite amount of energy with which to do as they please.
