Well, I think Loeb will be kicking himself, really should have been leading the championship now. However it makes the last two rounds very interesting, especially as one round is tarmac (advantage Loeb) and then the dirt of Wales for the finale.

Well done to Hirvonen for the win and to Matt Wilson for getting 4th, about time he got a good result!

I'm hoping to get to Wales for the final round, should be an exciting one.

Only followed it loosely this weekend but it appears to have been quite eventful. Still 4 points between Gronholm and Loeb so should be a close finish. It's great how there are still 2 rounds left in the season when most other forms of motor racing have finished for the year!

Glad Atkinson is OK after that crash, had he been going a little slower, he might have hit that tree at the wrong point.....

Take note you young'uns!! biggrin

You'd think Seb would have just cruised it home! And from a guy who "never makes mistakes"

What are the odds on it going to the final round with with a couple of points in it... Sound familiar?? rofl

Seb was fairly clear in blaming his co-driver for making a bad call from the pace notes. Apparently a minus minus corner was called as a plus plus, so he went in a bit hot and stuffed it. As was mentioned at the time, one wrong call in 10 years is probably acceptable, but it seemed quite an expensive mistake.

Such things happen, but I'd still put my money on Seb to win the championship. But then, I thought Lewis would do it too, so what do I know?
biggrin

I completely forgot about the rally.

When I realised last night, all I could record was day three action, so I missed what happened to Petter S.

Off to the SWRT website I go...

How quickly people forget, there was a round in Turkey (maybe 2004?) where Daniel called a wrong turn in a road section and they ran out of fuel trying to get back on the route.... ooops!
