Whatever happened to Ruben Xaus? They called him spiderman and constantly reminded how tall and heavy he was and yet for a year of two he competed with the best. So how tall and heavy was he compared to Rossi etc. And how much of a disadvantage was it, and with such a disadvantage was he infact the best rider out there, battling against the card that nature dealt him?
He was always quick but rather irratic and fell quite often IIRC, I haven't followed his races this season close enough to say whether that's still the case though.
I think he's tall and therefore heavier than most of the other top riders but I think it would be pushing it a bit to suggest he might be the best rider if he wasn't so tall.

He has had a fair bit of Factory support on his satellite Duke this year.
Still a quick rider, but hasnt rediscovered the form he showed as partner to Bayliss.
Shame, he has an entertaining style and you dont get to see it very often.
Champion ? Dont think so, almost been doing it to long.
