BBC article said:
"It will start to be negative because we'll get the Schumacher effect where people start writing to me saying can't you do something to slow him down."
Would it be any different if LH was driving a Ferrari I wonder? after all they knew, but did bugger all about, the Schumacher effect originally

If he really did say this then Mclaren should go straight to law and fight it out in a courtroom.
the simple fact is he WANTED Ferrari to win
What Mosley wants.. he gets..

Good job his granddad didn't. He was also very wrong about many things...

Max Mosely is a washed up conjurer. To the chap that photoshopped coco onto our favourite FIA fvckwit bow. Made my lunchtime.

I believe Mosley often says valid points but totally in the WRONG way. He knows the British press would have a field day with that quote so why ing say it!

The dickhead must have learnt PR from "PR for dummies - child edition" book.

As the F1 equivalent to Tiger Woods as regard potential income to the sport / PR coverage, not wise to say such things from the president of the governing body....again. Obviously another calculated attack to destabilise McClaren, but his apparent lack of impartiality now appears a liability for the FIA.

As for the reduction of points for McClaren before even looking at next years car:
1. They'll never be able to prove whose IP is on it (but lack of proof didn't stop the FIA this year)
2. If they find McClaren 'guilty' of using Ferrari IP, who would believe them when Max issues this warning before hand?

what i think is more worrying is who are the FIA scrutineers going to talk to to figure out whether something infringes a ferrari idea? ferrari?

i just can't see this working. McL are going to have a public spy in their midst reporting back to Ferrari via the FIA. "we've found this interesting diffuser design - lets ask Ferrari if that was their idea?" can't see it working.

as for Mosley, he just needs to retire. as someone said, its like having grandpa who has lost his marbles hanging around. bit like Bernie who just looks disorientated on the track before the off.

I dont agree with what he said but he does have valed some points, he did say it could have been any of the new drivers not just LH. Also being a MS fan I have seen far to many comments bantered about him and that he was bad for the sport and should be slowed down.

Only after MS had won several championships.

You're most welcome to do so - although I think I prefer this as a T-shirt design...

I was a bit suspicious of how Lewis and his team cocked up the last two races so badly.

That piece about Mosley suggests there probably was some "intervention" to stop Hamilton winning this year!!??

I cant beleve how mosley can open his mouth and be taken seriously, Atosport have an article about that interview, and at the end he claims that the 'spy' affair wasnt detramental to the sport, and that it added to the spectacle, anyone know what he smokes?

Despite the fact that so many of us hold the guy in contempt, that opinion is probably limited to persons who seriously follow motor sport.
I suspect that this dude continues to have considerable clout with the politicians and bureaucrats in the civilian sector because of the FIA's dual self-appointed authority, which is over public road driving issues as well as over some parts of motor sport.
