wavey Ello PV.

Coulthard, Vettel and Button have all put in blinding performances and outperformed the car this year though, i'm very tempted to go although it'd cost lots to stay overnight (i'm living in Newcastle now) as I think those drivers rank among the best in F1 right now.

Cheers,
Rob.

Hi Rob wavey

Dont follow F1 realy so I'll take your word, no doubt they are amongst the some of the best drivers in the world today, but they are not THE best which is what someone is when they win a championship in my mind, there does seem to be a lack of actual Champions, I mean Shuchey can do the Karting thing but not this  it would be interesting to see him up against Lewis, that would certainly pull the crowds, I am being pedantic I know, but you know me biggrin

Off to the MPH show Sunday bouncepaperbag

Glad to see you passed & are on your way up smile

Winningin F1 has very little to do with being the best driver - you just have to some how get your arse in a top 4 car.

A bit wank but of the cars they raced in Paris second best, the order of preference being

i) WRC cars
ii) ROC buggy
iii) Supercars (911s one year, F360 another can't recall when)

i and ii being significantly more fun to watch

Rob.
I can see what he means though, I think current day Champions is assumed for best viewing interest, dont think I'd bother going to see Stirling moss race wink

I'm pissed that there is no Rossi, in fact, no Motorcycle racers at all frown
Well wouldn't it be called Race of WORLD Champions then?

The clue is in the name... wink

Well this month's CAR magazine mentioned...

Aston Martin N24
Fiat Super 2000 rally car
Ford (Focus?) WRC car (Ford/BP seem to have lots of RoC type ads at the moment)
RoC Buggues (around 370kg and 175bhp)
