Race of Champions what time is it in the day?

Ello PV.Coulthard, Vettel and Button have all put in blinding performances and outperformed the car this year though, i'm very tempted to go although it'd cost lots to stay overnight (i'm living in Newcastle now) as I think those drivers rank among the best in F1 right now.

Dont follow F1 realy so I'll take your word, no doubt they are amongst the some of the best drivers in the world today, but they are not THE best which is what someone is when they win a championship in my mind, there does seem to be a lack of actual Champions, I mean Shuchey can do the Karting thing but not this :Confused: it would be interesting to see him up against Lewis, that would certainly pull the crowds, I am being pedantic I know, but you know me

anybody know what cars they are using?
when schummi did it a couple of years ago, they had to use ferraris or those buggies as schummi is not allowed to drive a non fiat product..
hmmm it would be ace ( i'd really like to see him) in a rally car, s2000 punto abarth???? anyone?? if not lets go back in time and stick them all in a delta s4.

ii) ROC buggy
iii) Supercars (911s one year, F360 another can't recall when)
i and ii being significantly more fun to watch

I can see what he means though, I think current day Champions is assumed for best viewing interest, dont think I'd bother going to see Stirling moss race Rob.

Ford (Focus?) WRC car (Ford/BP seem to have lots of RoC type ads at the moment)

basically most of the drivers named above have never been a champion! Or achieved anything atall!so whats the point in saying its the race of 'champions'!
can anyone explain?
There are plenty of champions on that list.
