Just need Mark Hughes to leave and I'll buy it again.
Do you mind elaborating on that? Most people I've spoken to rate Mark Hughes' writing very highly, as indeed do I. I'm intrigued to know what it is about him or his writing that prevents you from buying Autosport.

The one thing I don't like about mark hughes writing is that quite often he will write things like:

said:
a lonely sparrow, sitting on a tree, overhanging the racetrack.... blah blah blah blah blah blah, but the sparrow is still there...

LOL. Yes, but it sets the scene smile and he usually reserves such flowery prose for his smaller section on a particular feature of an upcoming circuit IIRC, rather than his column...

Roebuck moving on spurred me to pick up the February edition of Motor Sport today - it's been a few years since I last bought it. Looks good so far, from the editorial it appears the plan is to get a more even mix of modern and historic articles, and certainly the current issue does that well. A cracking read.

A subscription beckons, me thinks.

Well I need a motorsport journo, come to me Nigel, come to me...! biggrin

It would be a shame if he has really fallen out of love for his favourite sport, and if he can, what hope is there for the rest of the fans? rolleyes I'm hoping 2008 will be a better year.

Got mine through the door the other day. Good to have him on board.

Get your subscription sorted out!

Cheers
