Hi steve

Your points are well put, and since Colin took two full days to recover from the race, maybe 37's over a long period would not have been possible. We did suggest that we race for no prize money or points to make sure we didn't effect the other teams, but that didn't make any difference to the situation or the time penalty. I accept the rulings, I just thought it a shame that we couldn't give the crowd a more exciting race.....! Cheers, and see you at Thruxton

So was I,we have had our backs to the wall over the last 2 races, and all though the result wasn't that good,as things have gone,it was as good as winning at that stage, because we didn't think we where going to race at one point, I would like to thank all our team
and all the Tvr GT boys, engine room men and Hoggie good day mate nudge nudge wink wink, who helped even as late as 1 o'clock saturday night makeing the bits to race on sunday.

Congrats BT!

I read that coment back today and it seemed a bit sarkey. I didn't mean it to be. :slaponwrist:

I know that car is quick, Steve is a really good driver and Gareth is on his way to becoming one, improving all the time.

Keep up the good work guys!

You have the worst luck in the GT paddock, some Glory must be coming your way sometime soon!

Top fuel,
your comment was spot on, we haven't performed that well or at least to the standerd we should be at,we have a huge fan base now and we should be doing better for them as well as ourself's, but I hope we will and we are working on the car all the time, TVR have been so supportive they want all the cars to win as much as I do, we are over the moon with the factory support the cars very quick,we came 5th,if we could move up a place or 2 I am sure we will get more help.
which will please our fans as well as ourself's.

Cheers Bert!

Just looking at the rockingham pics on your site

www.cdlracing.com

They are all really good!

but this one was the best!!

Bit cheeky, is there any chance of getting some passes for thruxton??

I'll be there anyway, but Kieth told me and my Dad off for paying all the time (well, my Dad pays anyway!).

Cheers.

cheers!

We couldn't get any tickets for thruxton last year whilst Steve was at Racesport, what with the team and both it's drivers so local!

How will I get them?

Should I call Stuart when I get to the circuit??
I don't have his number.

Top Fuel, are you referring to Steve Hyde being at Racesport last year at Thruxton? If you are, erm, he was at Eclipse for that race!

Right, I'm off back to pedant's corner...

Granted.

It was the Eclipse car, but some members of Racesport where about, and the car was in the same awning (sp) as the John Hartshorne car at donny late '02. So, joint effort????

Not very helpful!

I was thinking of the 2001 season with the De Walt Tuscan R.

Couldn't make thruxton last year, despite it being 20mins away from me!!

Steve had a really sketchy season last year!!!

>> Edited.
oops! Just read Steve @ Eclipse. D'oh Sorry to doubt you.

Ah yes, we were in the DeWalt awning at both Thruxton and Donington, but we ran the car. I can see where confusion may have arisen! They drove with us for the last three rounds last year, with podiums gained at Snet and Thruxton.
