OK, its here, the racing photos thread. Post action shots/racing cars/driver and we'll see how it develops.
OK some of mine:

Not the best shots, but they're all I've got on photobucket.

Should be a good thread!

Edit to add: One of those nasty diesel things;

Memo to Munter: Find the 3 or 4 packs of photos you took in the 90's at the Oulton BTCC races.

The only ones we have online at the moment. These are Monaco Historique 2008 taken by my Dad - I can have no credit. Unfortunately all taken from the grandstands for the racing shots so not a great variety. I have a few somewhere I have taken myself, but only using a compact camera so fairly unsophisticated.

Monaco 2008 – Frank Sytner tries his Lotus 24 for size in the paddock. The proximity of the harbour is visible behind the car

Monaco 2008 – Mauro Pane's beautifully prepared Tyrell P34 in the paddock. It runs in 1977 bodywork

Monaco 2008 – Sir Stirling Moss chats up Mrs Tony Brooks while Mr Brooks himself shares a laugh with Simon Taylor - commentator and journalist

Monaco 2008 – Bugattis, Maserati and Alfa in practice for pre-1947 race. Amazing.

Monaco 2008 – Martin Stretton in the other P34. Epic commitment.

Monaco 2008 – Monaco Clerk of the Course Jacky Ickx demonstrated Auto Union C-Type. The noise was just beyond belief bouncing off the walls of the buildings

Monaco 2008 – Looking behind our grandstand to the approach to Ste Devote was tricky for photos but great for keeping up with race positions

Monaco 2008 – The Ferrari parade was more heated than you might expect...

Monaco 2008 – Duncan Dayton – Brabham BT33, Joachim Folch – McLaren M23, Manfredo Rossi de Montelera – Brabham BT42/44 and Frank Sytner – Hesketh 308 were epic. Dayton prevailed, as he usually does.

Monaco 2008 – Variety was awesome; Hesketh, Ferrari, March, Shadow, Williams, Surtees, Tyrell and Lotus all starred in 1975 – 1978 race, although I can’t remember all the drivers’ names.

There are some awesome photos on here. I'd like to get an SLR next year to try and work on my skills. Oh and I follwed Monaco with a hillclimb at Loton Park; the lack of glamour was refreshing! This isn't action but I like the atmosphere and it features a Chevron :-)

Some fantastic pictures, thanks to OP for starting the thread and to those that have posted.
My contribution:

PH's very own RacingPete - with his best result of the season.

It was great fun to help out and if RP is out next year I would recommend you go along.
