I know a driver of a GT1 car who said he didn't like racing at Le Mans in that class because he had to give way to the prototypes and at the same time overtake the GT2's at times getting very 'messy' - it was three years ago. Also he was very experienced in night driving so he had to do most of his stints there whereas the others were not.
