Does anyone have any idea where the BHP's footage/archives are?

As I am still on the lookout for the support races from the old Birmingham Superprix.

Thank you.

I too would like to know this, but only because I am interested in the filmed stuff that never made the final edit - e.g. on board camera work. At a guess a lot of stuff went to Duke, however BHP was wound up about 10 years ago, and the administrators then subsequently bought by another business, so I suspect finding the people that did the winding up is nigh on impossible.

Steve Rider is probably your only 'in' to BHP as was. I am not even sure that Barrie Hinchcliffe is still alive ( I'd guess he'd be late 70's. ) He is on facebook however although the account is dormant. So maybe contact through there.

I can’t let this comment pass without updating the fact that Barrie Hinchcliffe passed away last week. A doyen of the rally community and a maker of tremendous rally and race films of the 70s and 80s. A lot of it re captures on the VHS rallies YouTube channel via my back catalogue. Worth a look if you have not seen it. RIP Barrie.
