Why not drive for Aston again.....is it becasue they can't beat the diesels?

Surely as a racing driver he wants to drive for a team/drive a car that is capable of giving him the best finish. The difference in infrastructure and development between the Peugeots and the Lola-Astons is significant.

All that being said, he has still decided to drive for the French....
