Was thinking of leaving the duct tape bandage on the car for the next round . The scrutineers have other ideas though!

Breaking out the fibreglass tomorrow night after managing to find someone with a lot of experience to help (he rebuilds Elans for fun). Should make a decent article for the web site if nothing else .

Really? The 750MC scrutes didn't ever have a problem with the rear of my car being held together with tank tape for most of last season!

If you get any good tips for repairing fibre glass, then please let me know!!
