I don't suppose they're allowed to carry the orginal Tyrrell sponsorship (Elf, Candy etc). Seems a pity that classics can't appear in their original colours, but no doubt there's some objectionable corporate law against it.

Some of the cars do carry the original sponsorship artwork - e.g. all the Williams cars in the TFIGP series are accurately decked out. In the 1980 to 1982 period, Tyrrell often had to run without title sponsors so the car you showed in the picure was probably correct.

I think they eventually lost the Candy sponsorhip to Toleman.
