True! -depending on size of hangover and i had printed off directions to the circuit...Sadly, though, a further spanner in the works in the form of an ailing husband means we are a no show for both Yorks party and racing

Can I ask that you gently graze the barrier at some stage (without affecting race position, of course) to ensure I don't get banned from future races on the grounds that nothing goes wrong when we're not there? (i know it was a downpour last time, not car damage, so I'll accept a hailstorm instead)

Not a barrier, but close.

I missed a gear, ran off then span when I was in 9th place and doing well.

I then couldn't get 1st gear at the start of the feature race, so started in second and stalled, putting me flat last. Turned out I was in first gear all along

2 mistakes of my own making cost me several places

So you're not banned!!

Will do a full race report tomorrow with piccies...

Phew! Glad not to be banned, shame about your gear problems, but at least there's no patching up of the car to be done!

Watched the MotoGP on the telly as compensation, from Jerez, in a torrential downpour How those guys stay on at all in those conditions baffles me, and apparently their times are only 10% slower than in the dry
