What an epic project(thats right, I used the word epic). The finished car looks and sounds stunning, and goes pretty well too.

Who wouldn't do this if they had the money? I salute you sir, you have my respect and best wishes for the race, just wish I could be there to watch.

Once again the Ring lap times you are mentioning are on a much shorter course than we Race on which is the entire road course plus the GP track.
No, they're not. The RTG times are a measure used to calculate a time from the ridge (R) where the car rejoins the Nordschleife to the gantry (G) just before it exits and rejoins the GP circuit. It is, therefore, very directly comparable to the typical Sport Auto 'full' Nordschleife lap. Your car was recording 7:23 for that measure which is a good time for a road car.

As you and others have mentioned there are some caveats such as air restriction and the fact that that was the first lap on a practice, so it'll doubtless get quicker. What tyres are you using there?

And Maranello doesn't approve of non-official Ferrari projects.
Except, of course, for the Ferrari P4/5.

Good researching there chaps.

Retirement after 8 laps / Mika Salo's stint due to smoke.
Fastest laptime 8.44 which is similiar to a Porsche GT3 Cup.
Not bad for a debut race.

Better luck at the next race on May 14th!

Just a quick update to this thread with the 24h results.

The P4/5C finished in a commendable 39th place - certainly quite good for a new team & car. clap
Fastest lap of 8:49 certainly justifies a top-20 position.

Look forward to seeing further improvements to the car! bounce
