An unexpected and last minute opportunity has arisen which means I'll be travelling;

Ottawa-Toronto-Niagara-Washington-Baltimore-Philadelphia-New York

in a few days time.

I'm hoping someone on here might be able to provide me with suggestions for car-related points-of-interest along the way. Collections/Museums, meets, tracks, must-see(s) along the way etc.

Time will be tight (3 days to cover all that ground), but I don't want to miss anything along the way.

Also, if anybody knows of US-based sites where I can find dates and locations for car-related stuff to do it'd be greatly appreciated.

Open to the floor....

That's a lot to squeeze into 3 days.

Have you worked out how many miles and hours in the car that is alone?

Maybe worth getting quality time in one or two places rather than trying to squeeze an impossible amount in?

Yep, the trek only begins in earnest once Niagra is reached. Will be in Niagra Wednesday evening. Niagra - Washington - Final Stop in New York is 13 hours of non-stop driving, a total of 750 miles.

I hope to add a further 24 hours to that leg of the the trip if necessary.

This is all last minute stuff because it has come out of the blue, but the good news is I've wrangled a few more days, so can take things at a more relaxed pace and take in more things to do along the way.

In other words, take advantage and do the trip and take in the sights along the way properly.

I can't think of any car-related stuff off the top of my head but defo check out Niagra on the lake, it's very nice (especially as Niagra (the town) is so erm Blackpoolish. Go to Sunset Bar & Grill in Toronto for good breakfast.

Thanks gents, on the road today, doing the Canadian leg, leaving Ottawa now.
If anybody comes up with suggestions post them up here, and I'll endeavour to check them out.
