Help!

Could anyone please give me some advice on commuting from Huddersfield to Castleford? I would need to be there around 9am and I'm hearing some horror stories about the M62. Any advice will be much appreciated!

M62 is your only option realistically, unless you go Dewsbury-Wakefield normanton-castleford

M62 is usually fine eastbound after the m1 junction, so what about going up there and joining the m62 there onwards?

Thank you!! So my house is at outlane so would be a faff to get to the M1. Route finder is telling me 37 minutes door to door going all the way on the M62. Obviously it'll be longer than than but I'm wondering how much more....

There are a lot of 50mpg road works at the min too.

Surely there is nothing in castleford worth that commute!

Hi Lauren,

I don't travel that side but actually do Rochdale to Outlane daily.

Give yourself an hour and you should be ok. although there will be occasions where incidents take place meaning you need to change your route to avoid.

Something like Waze will be a good app to give you an indication of traffic if you don't have navigation and traffic built into your car.

Regards
