Lowest Bridges in UK

Yeah, thought as much! I was exploring snickets as a wanted person had been arrested near there earlier in the day and I wasn’t familiar with where it went. Needless to say I didn’t attempt it although someone clearly drives through there!
Believe it or not a lot of people drive through it as there is 6/8 houses the other side, you can do a bigger loop and go under the motorway bridge but this a shortcut, I have driven though it a few timesmcpoot said:

It is a little un-nerving the first time you use it.
That must be the only video I've ever watched on YouTube involving the correct use of a car horn.It is a little un-nerving the first time you use it.

This bridge sprang to mind when I read the topic, I used to flinch going under that in my mini let alone a modern car I think the angle that it crosses the road makes it feel even lower than it is.
Ironically if you move under the bridge on Google Street view . . . a modern mini can be seen on the other side https://www.google.com/maps/@50.6475749,-3.4522499...
Entrance to Starcross Yacht Club in Devon going under the railway line.
The really brave (stupid?) in the past have tried to tow their boats under the bridge too.
It's been a few years since I drove under there, but as kids we used to stand under the bridge and be deafened as trains thundered overhead on the Exeter to Plymouth line.

I've been using the route through this tunnel a lot more since the recent road works on the A48 near Langstone.
Makes me appreciate the fact the M4 was built. I cannot begin to understand the grief without it being built through South Wales. The moment the M4 gets snarled up at J24 the locals/waze users use the A48 off of it and cut through the B4245 (magor road) to rejoin M4 J23A.
Could do with the Welsh assembly funding the Newport bypass next but that's another story! (In fact just demo Newport and make the land available to road use!)

I walked past this bridge at the weekend - and thought it would be a low squeeze even in my Caterham Seven - you need to stoop on foot. There are no restriction signs that I recall, and the road leads to the static caravan site / beach. Other access is available…
I can only conclude that the Coach Parking sign is miss-aligned.[url]
