Hackbrige London Rd A237 PITA

What a PITA they've turned on the traffic lights for the unfinished housing development right in Hackbridge. Even with kids off this is causing tail backs all the way to the Grange if coming from Wallington. The housing development is probably still a year away from being completed.
What with the magic roundabout that causes all sorts of confusion they installed a while ago this is going to be one hell of drag once kids are back!

Yep, its all about you ditching the car and using Public transport and Bicycles

Soon there will be people walking in front of cars with a red flag!

I called the council about this who told me to call TFL. So I did yesterday. 30 mins of waiting but I explained the problem to a disinterested sounding member of staff.

With those ridiculous courtesy crossings, mini roundabout zebra crossings and now traffic lights within 100m the council have succeeded in creating a mini blockade.

That said, lights were back off when I drove to the gym earlier

That's good maybe they took notice. Still it will come eventually

I always feel there's something ironic about driving to a gym!

They're back! So not just a test. Causing tailbacks for no reason as it will be years before anyone actually can use the planned housing estate.
