I’ve got a few spare days next week in Switzerland (maybe Austria as well) and I know these passes are open:

Maloja Pass
Ofen pass
Bernina Pass
Julier Pass

Any others that I can add to the list?

Thanks in advance.

How are things looking? Intrigued by 'off season' driving in the Alps.

Looking great.

In Austria now.

This was the Bernina pass earlier today.

Road trips aren’t just about sunny sundays. I like my winter trips....

PS - this is RWD driving (but winter tyres of course)

Bugger - it’s upside down. Any smarty pants correct it for me as I’ve only got my phone with me???

How busy are the passes?

Is this kind of thing completely unrealistic?

Completely unrealistic unfortunately.

The passes I posted on my first post are the only passes open I believe. The best ones open in May/June.

Still fun though on a winter road trip, just different objectives.

Winter tyres are a must though.

Have fun.
