Predictable. Same as the Cat & Fiddle (which ultimately led to the demise of the eponymous pub).
Personally I think the Triangle attracts too many like this idiot in the Civic - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoDAX1ZJ-g8
I have never fathomed out why people post videos to youtube which anyone can view and which are likely to get them into trouble.

Large chunks with avg speed cameras? Didn't see them when we were there 2 weeks ago.....unless they were disguised as sheep!

There are no average speed cameras on the EVO Triangle, go late in the morning onward and you will probably see why they will happen soon enough!

If you have some evidence of this, please share? otherwise i'm not sure why you keep posting something that is not accurate.

It's an NSL road so i don't see why i would be getting an NTP. There were no signs indicating cameras, the only signs up were for temporary road surface.

There were no other cars on the road either of the days we were there so i can't comment on other users and their driving. As we left on the Sunday there was a lot of tasty machinery heading towards it though. I can only surmise that going and touring the area on a weekday helps.

They are on a stretch of the southern section - we just completed a tour which caught some of it. The tour organiser knew about them and gave us all due warning on tour guide notes. Short of sending you specific video footage of the exact day and hour, I fail to see what else you are going to listen to, because you seem so sure of yourself. I have been on the earth long enough to know what I see out of the window and don't dream this stuff up just to amuse myself! You say you are a journalist? Surely you should ensure you have all the facts??!

Direct quote from tour notes!

"Unfortunately too many incidents caused by reckless drivers posting videos of themselves on YouTube and reckless motorcyclists posting themselves into the scenery meant the road has become heavily policed. Average speed cameras have now been introduced on some sections"

If I can actually be inclined to do so, perhaps i'll trawl through all the footage to find it, just for you, and then send you a specific still and grid reference - otherwise I's suggest you go and take a closer look - certainly on the southern stretches.

If you don't want to listen, then no-one is going to convince you.

I think you are refering to the A5, that's just a section of road that connects the two 'driving road' bits of the Triangle. The EVO Triangle is only two roads realy; B4501 and A543.

I have seen mobile cameras setting up on the Cerrigydrudion junction of the A5 many times on my way home from an early run. Easy pickings I guess on the straight section of the A5 there.

You’ve just made yourself look a bit silly. Calm down and check your facts before you band around misinformation. All you had to do was give the road numbers where they were.

The A5 is not part of the Triangle, as mentioned already by Tickle. I also organised the tour for 9 cars so it would’ve been in my interest to get this right.

Yes, there are mobile cameras on the A5 but on a straight section where they can get a reading rather than windy, twisting parts of the Triangle. These are also not average speed cameras. When we were there one turned up on Sat night. If you choose to speed on the A5 then you are a bit of a dick as it cuts through quite a few hamlets.

I live within easy reach of the triangle and have never seen average speed cameras. The A5 is policed as are a few other spots around North Wales.
