The A83 is still closed until Monday next week at the earliest but there is a convoy system in operation on the parallel OMR.

The Rest is closed again currently, that's twice in the last six weeks - they've gotten the old military road in the glen below open again though, but it's a convoy system (I've never actually used the OMR since they reopened it for this purpose)

Lots of chatter about the country going into a two week lockdown again during the October school holidays which'll be an absolute ballache! Glasgow/Greater Glasgow has been restricted again for almost the last two weeks and will be reviewed again on Tuesday, but there's very low incidence of the virus in Glasgow from what I've heard. Oban was moderately busy yesterday afternoon but nothing compared to what it usually is at this time of year.
