Head west out of Camberley on the A30… turn off towards Minley / Fleet at the A372, but keep right and head down towards Fleet.
Take the second right (Blackbushe Road) just before you get to cross the M3, loop back up towards the A30.
Cross the A30, take the A372 north towards Eversley, but turn left on on to Bramshill Road. At the end of the road, turn left on to B3011, heading towards Hartley Witney and the A30 (again).
Cross the A30, dogleg through Hartley Witney and take the A323 towards Fleet.
Pass under the railway, turn left on to Elvetham Road and follow until the end. Turn left, over the railway and you're back on Minley Road, ready to turn left on to Blackbushe Road to repeat the loop.
At any point, take the A30 back to Camberley.

And if you don't think Camberley is in West Surrey you might find this map useful:- https://www.bing.com/maps?q=map+of+surrey+england&...

Well I got to try out this route today, with a slight modification. I didn't see the point of going through the suburbs at the end of Fleet rd & Elevtham rd (30/40 limits), so on Fleet rd just prior to crossing under the M3 I went left into Pale lane, it's a NSL there , not that you can really do that along there! Especially the last ~1/3 which is single track (shortly after passing the back of Fleet services), but at least it's a nice country drive & a quiet road back to Blackbush rd> Minley rd (I then rejoined the M3 at 4a to head home).Take the second right (Blackbushe Road) just before you get to cross the M3, loop back up towards the A30.

Btw, what's with the Minley road bridge over the M3? Dual carriageway bridge, but no dual carriageway! lol https://goo.gl/maps/DEb7FrzBKuXRhKJ29
Anyway, it was a nice enough drive, but rather too busy as I suspected it might be.
Thanks anyway, was still nice to go for a spin in my M3 with (some) roads new to me .

Good point about the Fleet Services road being a better (but narrow) alternative.
I used to drive these roads a fair bit as a student – MK1 Fiesta 1.3, skinny tires and lots of laughs with my mates from Fleet and Camberley. For a decent drive you may need to pick an early Sunday morning (5am?). I will revisit in the summer when the sun is out and the roads are dry enough to take the Caterham out for proper run.
As for the Minley bridge… I suspect the council ran out of money, or the builders put the wrong one in!

Lol, I noticed the Fleet road underpass has room for a dual carriageway too!
Btw, I had a 1.3S Mk1 Fiesta too! I upgraded the engine, suspension & put slightly wider tyres on it .
For my next drive I might go on the B3349 between Alton & Odiham.
Or, more likely I'll check out the road going south of Shere to Ewhurst, then Rowhook (which has a well rated pub/restaurant ), which looking via Google street view is actually mostly NSL! (if it isn't out of date, doesn't seem to be, mostly dated 6/2019). On the return go back up Rowhook/Horsham rd to Furzen Ln, then right towards Ewhurst on the B2128, then Somersbury Ln which is NSL onto Ewhurst, Shere. No idea what these roads are actually like to drive on though!
Coombe Ln & Green dene north of Shere looks interesting too, and were at least NSL, but the Google street view here is 10yrs old!

Some of those roads around Shere ,Ewhurst etc are quite narrow and winding.
I used to drive a lorry on some of them and meeting someone having fun on them will end badly.
Thanks for the heads up, but don't worry I wouldn't go flying round blind bends anyway :thumbsup:I used to drive a lorry on some of them and meeting someone having fun on them will end badly.
