Fellow Piston Heads,

a very open ended question I know, but I have a week in August, a BMW Z4M, a willing co-driver, a desire to see more of Europe and a credit card, any suggested routes?

Is the 'Ring' that good? Is the Stelvio pass worth the drive down? Is Eurotunnel as easy as it seems on the website? Are the ferrys better? etc Thanks in advance.

Berlin and back.

Innsbruck and back.

Malaga and back.

IMHO nope. Have a look at http://www.alpineroads.com/
for better Alpine passes.

Yes. If you can't manage the Eurotunnel you
shouldn't try Europe.

Suggest a week in Frinton with the in-laws
instead.

Depends on what you want. The ferries
can't compete time-wise with Eurotunnel,
so they compete on price instead.

Was there last week and well it all depends on what you like.. however for me yes Stelvio was worth the drive despite me having second thoughts when climbing up and it begain to snow heavy.. I continued to climb and soon passed the snow cloud.. the views were breath taking on the decent there was no snow really strange how two sides of a mountain are so different..

here are a couple of pictures taken on the way to give you some idea
