very nice just wish i could persaude the other half that that is what we need to do
i took the eldest to reims when we visited spa this year, mixed feelings about the fact that someone has/had started to renovate it, not sure if it should just be left or if its is going to be renovated then find the cash to do it completely

A trip like that is unforgettable! Spend as long as you like at the best locations - for example, Lake Como, St Tropez, Monaco etc, but the highlights are driving the best roads in Europe, and arriving at fantastic Hotels early afternoon and enjoying gastronomic food!
The 'Amis de Gueux' have a website - don't chuckle at the Display Panel item too much - it doesn't translate correctly! We pay €20 per year to help towards the cost of repainting, and I think if the locals hadn't started to repaint, it would be gone in a few years - like Les Essarts at Rouen - sadly wiped out when we arrived last year. It is a very special place to visit - quite haunting in a way, and we visit as often as we can to see the progress, and also have a fantastic lunch nearby!

How much did that trip set you back in the end? I'd love to treat my dad to a trip like that O.o
I haven't checked the bills yet, but we spent a lot extra testing the regional food and wines blondemoment said:

Err - to put it simply, no! We know the roads and routes so well that we never use satnav (and it never takes you on the best roads for the best scenery and twisties ) We simply look at the whole trip using maps and the time we know it takes to drive the passes! I suppose experience helps us! If it helps you, the photo's are in order! Sorry I can't help on that one....
love the photos and recognised a good few of those places and roads.. Really is stunning over those Alps.. Sadly I never got a good view of the road on the Furka pass as it was really foggy and I got caught up in a hail storm which was scary.. but a great experience all the same, and I'm planning on going back again.
I spent some time driving across America in a selection of cars
the pics are on my site the only shot not in America is the one in a tunnel

Think I went to school with your cannonballer who owns the Tuscan - Nic Lewis, what a small world!

Did a road trip in 2005 and I recognise that corner

I'm based in Zug, Switzerland and thinking of a week/10 days driving holiday down into Italy in the Spring in my Gallardo Spyder, including a visit to the Lambo, Ferrari factories. My wife & I are definately of the variety "arrive at great hotel in the late afternoon for amazing food/wine before departing the next day for another good set of driving roads". Seems like the sort of client who would book a tour on your web site, only obviously we're not looking for to/from UK routings.
If you have any ideas or can suggest an itinerary I'd be interested to hear from you.
Cheers
