Below is an outline proposed route for 3 of us to drive between the 1st and 6th May, 6 days . . .

1 - Bolougne to Grenoble - This is the getting there day

2 - Grenoble to Monace - Route Napolean. We'll probably stay in or around Monaco.

3 - Monaco to Cannes - A day in the mountains above Monaco, Col de Turini and whatever else takes our fancy north of Monaco, Nice and Cannes. There are plenty of roads to play on.

4 - Cannes to Ales - Gorge du Verdon and again a series of roads that take our fancy around the area to include Mont Ventoux.

5 - Ales to somewhere via Millau - Cross country to the bridge, then off the autoroute again to do the Gorge du tarn, then starting to head home leaving now more than 400 miles to Bolougne for next day . . .

6 - Somewhere to Bolougne - The going home leg frown

I know it is a little sketchy at best, but what do people think ?

Concerns would be the 550m miles day 1 consists of, but we've done it before. Will the Col's be clear of snow by 1st week in May, is it too much driving.

This is a blokes driving hoon, rather than partners for looking at things tour.

All views appreciated . . .

Fantastic roads - get up early to avoid as much traffic as possible

You'll enjoy the roads in almost anything I reckon as there's a real mix, fast straights, hairpins and very windy stuff driving

Have a good time
