We are going up to applecross this weekend and were
wondering what is the best way to do the loop???

I would say clockwise ie start at Kishorn and descend into Applecross - the views coming down over to Skye and Rasaay are (on a good day!) amazing.

Be sure to go on round the coast road to Shieldaig - don't just turn round after your lunch in the Potting Shed or Applecross Inn and go back over the Bealach again. The panorama really opens out and once you get round the top of the peninsula you are over looking the Torridon hills which are again spectacular. Enjoy!

Agreed. Clockwise is the way to go.

Mrs M & I did it two weeks ago, and this is what to expect:-

We are going up tomorrow, camping at Morvich Caravan Club Site Shiel Bridge.
Should be about a dozen of us in classic mini'sclap do the loop on saturday,
haave spent today geting my mini ready 2 bullet cam outside and main video camera
inside, so should be able to make a good wee youtube videobiggrin

Will post sum pics when we get back....
