Monaco to Chamonix

We headed up the Col de Turini before heading to chamonix...fun road with stunning views. 2 Hours ish to get to the top only problem being it didnt really go anywhere..Worth it though.
From there we just did boring motor through italy (Time was getting on a bit)
Hit northern Italy and suffered 3 hours of torential (sorry TORENTIAL) rain, ive never seen rain like it..not much fun on post 'Ring' R888 cut slicks! Down to 20mph in places...

i've driven from cham to nice.
i just took the most direct non-motorway route and it was a blast! esp when you get into the area inland of nice. the best roads i've encountered and i've spent quite a bit of time in the alps
i actually enjoyed the rural area's north of nice more than the coat d'azure itself to be honest.
