The B4077 should provide some mild entertainment for you.

I enjoy the A44 coming away from Broadway (which is nice to visit anyway) and going towards Bourton/Stow. The road is know locally as Fish Hill, and is a series of very tight bends on a 'two lanes up/one lane down' road rising to about 100m altitude in about half a kilometer.

I know the one you mean.

If I'm in the area I make a point of going up it. Quickly. If I ruled this merry land I would organise a once-a-year Drift/Hillclimb/Time Trail Event up said length of road.

I reckon it should be a rolling start from after the roundabout and then, well, anything goes! biggrin.

The existing banked viewing areas for spectators are simply superb. You could rake in some hefty takings from the paying public, imo. All for charidy, of course wink

Pikes Peak? That's for girls.

You up for it? smile

Spot on!

Just be careful if you see a maroon Shogun parked up near Burford - There was a speed trap set up where the B4425 opened out having just turned off the A40 last time I went down there. cop
