Been noticing this more and more in magazines of late, so in our annual 'Beat the Clock' (Going back) trip we are going there.

But, what's it like to drive, I'm assuming the best bit is the lack of speed limits, and the roads are bettered by those in North Wales and West Highlands (which we've already done)

Any thoughts, comments or suggestions welcome.

With that and the spelling mistake in the title! wink

My point being that the island is quite small, and most people tend to rave about the Highlands and North Wales (with good reason) and yet we have an island with no road side gatsos, where caravans are banned, there is no speed limit in certain areas and yet you hardly read about great driving adventures there. Is it anything to do with the fact the ferry is £150 return? or that the roads aren't as good as places on the mainland...
