From the Ring to the Alps and beyond

Just came back from an awesome holiday, i usually go with a bunch of mates, and we dedicate it to Motorsport, but this year with just me, the Celica and missus, i figured we'd be a bit more adventurous.

The idea, 10 days, 8 countries, 2700 miles - taking in the Nurburgring, The Eagles Nest, and some of the finest drivers roads in the world.

We did Stelvio to Davos aswell, and i can definately agree with Top Gear, the Stelvio was pretty good, the rest was incredible.

Excellent stuff.

Minor quibble: The Krimmler waterfall claims to be the tallest in Europe.

There's a good three-four hour footpath along side it to the top.

Shame about the views from the Kehlstein Haus.

yeah, when we were at the Kimmler Waterfall it said it was the tallest, but Wikipedia suggests its the 2nd, it was mighty impressive.

was a bit gutted about the views from the Eagles Nest, but i'd never stood in a cloud before, so not all bad.
