Boulogne to Toulose - best driving experience?
Discussion
Nice Can't really comment on the Toulouse side but make sure to get on the Sisteron - Cannes road when you go across country. If you have time for a diversion through the Gorges du Verdon as well then do it, look for the Moustiers/Castellane loop.
The roads around there are stunning and at this time of year will be quiet. Can't think of a better car to do it in either

hello,
can't help with the boulogne to toulouse bit as we always take the plymouth santander ferry nowadays.
... but from toulouse, head south to Saint Jean D'Aigues Vives then turn left and take the N117 to perpignan on the coast.
i know you said no m'ways, but the A9/A75 is great fun, especially as you near the millau bridge.
leave m'way just after m bridge and "do" the adjacent gorges du tarn.
then on to Ales, Orange & then Mont Ventoux.
then east to the infamous N85 and down to Grasse.
if you need further details, itn files or hotel stuff, just shout.
