Just seen this in the RAC members booklet, looks like one hell of a road and they say the surface is like a race track?

They drove up it in one of the magazines sometime last year. 'Car' maybe. They said it was good and pretty deserted IIRC

Autocar did it in a Cooper S(iirc) afew years back when it was finished....certainly looked like a race track finish,

I drove the Jebel Hafeet road a few weeks ago.. amazing road but full of tourists (and not of average driving ability)...

We were lucky then - did it in a hire car .... deserted (pardon the pun !) - huge fun !!! Stunning views from the top !!

Is it the one Tiff Needell drove up on Fifth Gear a few weeks ago? He said was a really good road, but not the best in the world. Also, it went nowhere, except to a car park and a closed palace at the top.

Beat me to it... It may look good, but nothing that special really.
