South Wales to Bristol
Discussion
Have to be in Bristol for a training course by 8.30am-ish tomorrow morning.
Usual routine on a Monday is to make good progress until I get to the M5 junction, then crawl for the next hour onto the M32.
Course is in Kingswood.
I hatched a plan.....
Use the old Severn Bridge, head towards Thornbury, then over towards Yate and straight down into Kingswood via Downend.
Will this save me any time, or should I just take the bike?

I know its late but you could have come off the first junction on the M32 and turned left and followed the outer ring road to kingswood.
Or upto Bath junction and turn right to the cold ashton roundabout and turned right follow road till you hit a kingswood resident.
I did the first one of those two. Took me bloody ages - popped into the Severn View services on the way over for a coffee and it was solid traffic from where the M48 rejoins the M4 right the way through to J1 of the M32.Or upto Bath junction and turn right to the cold ashton roundabout and turned right follow road till you hit a kingswood resident.
