Hello wavey

I have just moved to Windsor (well, in January) and I have two weeks off from work and I wanted to explore the areas roads before I have to go back to my desk!

I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers to some nice driving roads in the area.

Thanks in advance guys (and gals) biggrin

The great park, just do it as fast as you can, Keith seems to enjoy that sort of thing as well hehe

If you want to pop into the town my advise would be to walk, as parking is a fecking nightmare!

Head out through the great park towards Ascot, when you get to the 'peanut' shaped roudabout take the left lane towards sunningdale/sunninghill - there are some nice lanes out that way.

just seen this thread! i am driving in windsor all the time. My advice is to head into the Fifield area via the back of dedworth aswell, some awesome country roads around that way, and follow it all the way round to places like ascot and maidenhead. Definately the best driving roads around here. Where abouts do you live and what do you drive? might have seen you about.

?! i am genuinely baffled! do you guys live in Old Windsor aswell then? I've lived there for 17 years so know most people. What do you drive? I'm sure i don't make too much noise, mainly just coming off the roundabout late at night and past the Toby Carvery if i do, wink!! I see you all meet at puntos aswell, i'm always at those shops!

I've lived in Old Windsor for a couple of years now, we use Punto as our regular SAS (see ThamesValley Forum) meeting point. If there is a 09 plate BMW or ex-plod Omega there then you know I'm in smile

ahh ok, i'll check it out, i don't really look in the local forums actually. So i'm guessing you've seen me around Old Windsor in my Car. My apologies if i've woken you up! my car is rather loud. Do you leave your cars outside the shops then? i'm confused!

I thought you where proud of my budding skills? I learnt all my skills form yourself? wink

Nick.S loves giving people titunus.

Drift road is the best in my opinion, braywick road is nice too for roll on's. It used to be a popular hotspot for adrenaline filled young lads.

Uncle Meryl. Yea my car is actually offensively loud. ahh Braywick, so dangerous when you think back to it. Can't beat the relief road for a traffic light grand prix though. Bell me up after work. Len Russell.

hehe I've been enjoying the Drift roads over the last few weeks! Would be more so but I appear to have broken the sodding suspension on my car... however fingers crossed that should be a little better tomorrow.
