Trip around UK

I'm planning a trip to Scotland next year and with Get Carter's help will be following a route covering a lot of the roads in the link he has posted above.
For the Nurburgring you'll find more info in the Trackday forum. Where you stay depends on budget and how close you want to be to the circuit. Nurburg or Adenau have some very nice places to stay at a variety of budgets or Cochem is superb if you want to be a bit further away. I like this place in Nurburg itself http://www.am-tiergarten.de/en/home/ partly cos I like it there and partly cos I never feel like driving too far after some tracktime at the Ring
And if you get the chance try to get around some of the circuits viewing points using this guide http://www.northloop.co.uk/photography.htm
