Cassablanca to Marrakech, you think the Italians are nutters?
Worth it for the pure entertainment, especially at night as in Morrocco if your "vehicle" does less then 25kph you don't have to have lights!!
On a more serious note in the same country but not sure of the actual road name, if you head out of Marrakech past the airport on the main highway it twists up into the Atlas mountains, epic scenery and great sets of bends.
As for the UK I like the A686 all the way from Haydon to Penrith. Great drops and climbs with stunning views.

I think the B4235 from Chepstow to Usk deserves a mention on this thread. I grew up in the area and have many happy memories of hooning along it in my early days behind the wheel; I'm still yet to find a Welsh B-road I prefer.
Agree with the B863 from Glencoe to Kinlochleven too - always a pleasure.

Tregaron - Abergwesyn mountain road.
The first time I did it was around midnight on a rally in the 70s.
Never been over it as quick since but the views were a lot better.
The only place I've ever got stuck in the snow. Somewhat of a proving ground for just about every car I've owned. The first time I did it was around midnight on a rally in the 70s.

I have a great route over Exmoor which takes in greats such as Porlock Hill (clutch test) although wildlife and unsuspecting drivers have to be considered. It is so twisty with such gradient that you dont have to run too fast to get a great drive.
Runs from Minehead to Mullacott and then back down to Tiverton - bit vague but I cannot remember the road numbers, must check a map.

Is that the Devil's Bridge one that starts near the dams? Epic views, I found it a little narrow and too many crests to be 100% sure what was coming. I can imagine it would be immense as a closed rally stage though (or at silly O'clock in the morning on a road rally when there's no one around and you can see the headlights miles off).Red Devil said:

Speaking of silly O'clock. I stumbled across perhaps the best driving road I've ever found in the UK on the same trip: The Devil's Elbow (A4138 I think) in the Forest of Dean. It was rammed with people when I drove it, but at 7am on a Sunday morning it'd be a hillclimb event waiting to be staged.
I'm not sure of all the road numbers below, but I regularly commute this stretch of road and I love it (especially when I'm working late night or early morning and its mostly deserted). Best thing about it is that you can stay well within the speed limit all the time and its still a great drive:
Starting at Owler Bar roundabout just SW of Sheffield
Owler Bar - Baslow - Bakewell - Monyash - Crowdecote - Longnor - Leek (las tsection is via an unnamed road which joins up with A53 about 3 miles out of Leek)
After Leek it gets crap. If only my office was just outside leek on the A53...

I've not driven masses of A roads, but the A57 between Glossop and Sheffield never, ever fails to put a smile on my face.
...and possibly a semi.
ETA: I have done the A625 a few times to Chapel-en-le-frith but caught traffic. Lovely scenery though.
This has to be a favourite for me, one of my regular drives is wakefield to buxton so I always travel on the woodhead pass and drop down onto the A57 through glossop. A fantastic road although the last time was quite hairy when I was running late in a terential downpour and had to do the whole journey in under an hour....and possibly a semi.

Only just seen this thread. A507 is my route home to Letchworth every day. When its clear its just great, had some frustrating 40 mph slogs down it though. Its the acid test for my car of the moment and I've had some epic drives in both directions.
Not spent enough time in Scotland though it looks great but the A4212 from Bala to Trawsfynydd and the alternative B4391 from Llyn Celyn to Ffestiniog. Views from the top towards the Glaslyn estuary are sensational.
Worldwide though the whole length of the RN85(Route Napoleon ) from Digne to Grasse is wonderful with a nice cool beer in Castellane half way.
France is full of superb roads though and my own personal favourite , and I'm pretty sure no one will have heard of it, is The Corniche des Cevennes from Florac to St Jean Du Gard. Empty, varied, fast with wonderful views of the Cevennes. In the early evening on a sunny summers day, driving nirvana
