Essex to Cornwall?

Got to do the trip on a sunday morning and was wondering wether it should be M4/M5 or M3/A303. Hope to be off the M25 about 6.30amish. Any thoughts, and also camera sites etc? Ta in advance.

Did this albeit in a Clio as the TVR has not arrived over easter. We actualy live in harrow but I used to live in essex. Had a great time by doing m4 to marlborough and then taking the a361 across country to m5. We then choose to go via exmoor but there were plenty of nice routes and the roads were pretty good. kept saying good tvr route for the future! Hope that helps.
