Nice Evo! But then I am a bit biased...
You actually running two bar of boost in it then? Forged internals?
Yeah buddy its running the new HKS 7460r turbo and quite a big spec. Its a genuine 500hp car so tbh along with that turbo (which i think is the best 500hp turbo on the market) makes it a rather brutal road carYou actually running two bar of boost in it then? Forged internals?

Nice. Still running the standard two litres? Or you had it stroked?Well its not a standard block but yeah its still a 2ltr. Im not a fan of the stroker kits if im honest unless you want big big power as its hard to hold the power up the revs on the smaller turbo up to gt30's
TBH i think 2ltr long rod is the way forward. You could have a long rod rev'ing to 9k on a forced performance black making 600hp+ on a reasonable budget

Revving to 9k eh? Sounds interesting. Well if you ever feel the need to move on and sell the engine... TBH i think 2ltr long rod is the way forward. You could have a long rod rev'ing to 9k on a forced performance black making 600hp+ on a reasonable budget

Will do buddy. I can point you in the direction of some great people ive come across that offer a fantastic service for evo owners.
where in the uk you based?
J
I'm Kent/London borders. TBH, I know places to take it to get good work done but due to work issues (paycut/potential redundancies), money's much tighter than normal and that rules me out of having any engine work done. And I've just paid for a closed trackday at the 'Ring too (being nice and sensible with the cash I do have )!where in the uk you based?

10 of us 'local lads' are off to Le Mans in a few weeks too- looking forward to it (depending on what mood the TVR is in)
Sorry, but that bit amused me as a guy in our office has a TVR and switches between a) proclaiming it's true britishness and how reliable it is, and b) whinging like mad about how unreliable it is.
