Nice bit of kit. Lotus bits are a strait swap and newer 75 Turbo bits also fit. I'd go for supercharging personally as it will make the car as quick as the Tomcat powered one only without the "When will it break down" thought echoing every time you turn the key.

I'll be honest mate, with mortgage a year away and having had some fast stuff, I want sensible fun, that will DD and then be fun around the twisties.

So a set of springs, some bushes and some beefy brakes, possibly an exhaust upgrade, and it'd do me fine.

ITBs are always an option wink

Get it bought and get a thread going. wink

Rover 200 Coupe's are getting rare as well thanks to the Max Power generation ruining or thrashing a lot of them, soas collectable as tunable. Either way a good car.

Selling the BMW to make space or offering a part ex'/swap?

BMW is "surplus" as the dog won't fit in it, so I'm using mums 4x4. So don't need 3x 5seater cars.

BMW on eBay, ends tomorrow..... already met reserve.

That ends 2hours later I think, so plan is to get on it straight away. As it's only an hour up the road, alls well. Needs tax, that's it.

Plan would be to carefully tidy-up any rough edges, probably a set of lowering springs and a bush refresh. Stainless manifold/exhaust, bigger TB, and induction kit. Job jobbed.

cool
