Looks good! Have you done any FEA on the Upright? (it's always a bit of a 'mare trying to decide on sensible load cases, and also why OEM's still do "kerb strike" tests etc even after lots of FEA/FMEA work ;-)
For track use only wink plus i'm not 100% sure they will be sold to the masses.

managed to get one of the rear uprights done today for a test fit. thankfully no problems and everything lines up as it should

just have the ball joint plinths to make then they can get fitted up properly. just got to program and make the other side then its onto the fronts.

does anyone know where i can get an 8 deg reamer in the uk? cant seem to find one anywhere for doing the ball joint tapers

Aesome project, looking forward to seeing it progress!!

Uprights look great, are you going to have them heat treated or at least anodised?

Can't help with the 8' reamer, but could you clock them up in a 4 jaw and turn a taper on a lathe?

Great work. I was already impressed with the engine build, the uprights however are a new level!

Nice work.

Every time you update this thread I have dirty thoughts of transplanting the engine in mine! I must resist the dark side!

Looks the nuts. Surprised at all the awesome work you've done but then put GAZ shocks on it though?
