Looking good, I had a sunburst 3i on a Y reg.
Loved that car.

Op we only know as much as you do sadly.
Nice to see the cars still going.

It might be a sensitive subject and you may not want to say, but I bet you paid a smidge more for it than the £100 the OP did.

Haha yes, just a smidge more. I paid 3.5k for this £500 car lol. Prices are ridiculous now but i wanted to own one again, so i had to accept it.
I wanted it because i had one as my first car back in 2001, it was immaculate and i struggled to get £500 for it a year or so later.

This was it a couple of months back when i bought it from a guy in Dartford.
Note the AA sticker in the windscreen, another reason I’m pretty sure it’s the same car.

It was still in remarkable condition really for a 38 year old car. All original paint except the osf wing and door! The only welding required was the same as the original post plus a small repair on the drivers floor pan. I also had to weld up all of the holes drilled to fit the silly bodykit haha!

OP, that looks amazing.

Don’t sweat the purchase price, that baby is only going up in value.
