Spent a couple of days down in Invercargill helping out at the workshop, so some progress made. Carb linakges done.

Roundel lights and ID lights fitted.

Can't believe the OH wanted me to throw this old electric carving knife out a few years back. Turns out to be the perfect tool for trimming safety foam to size to fit in the fuel tanks.

Right hand fule tank stuffed with foam and strapped in place. Going to cost a bit to fill at 43 litres each side...

Another couple of days down in Invercargill helping John. All gauges, warning lights and switches wired up and operational, as are the electric water pump, speedo, wiper, and windscreen washers. Both fuel tanks now in, filler necks installed and filler caps both on.

Some more progress. Door pulls fitted; coil and distributor on and plug leads made; dash pretty much finished, with all switches, gauges and lights functional; brake and clutch reservoirs in.

Looks perfect in every way (as always), I like the door pulls a lot and feel the need to copy, did you make them or buy them??

More fiddly bits done. Dry cell battery locked in and wired up, so she has her own power now. Convenient footrest for the passenger too... biggrin

Fuel pressure gauge on and dipstick fitted.

Stainless stone guard made and fitted.

Don’t suppose you have any pictures, drawings, angles and or measurements of the reear clip frame do you, have a friend who is trying to fabricate one but there is little information out there...

Thanks

Spent yesterday getting the fuel system nailed together. Looking good so far and the SW pumps are making all the right noises. Just need to plumb in the lines to the tanks now to make sure there are no leaks.

This is absolutely insane. I love the attention to detail on the car, it's going to be an absolute beast when it's done. How much power are you expecting out of the 351?
