Lexus V8 with NOS in a Renault Espace - yeah lets do it !

More work that will never been seen today
Before and after
There is also some heat proofing insulation to go below the rear seats as that is where the exhaust silencers sit ,
I tried a little experiment on how much heat comes through the floor from the exhaust after the engine had been running for around 10 minutes and it highlighted where more is needed over the tunnel and actually how good the sound deadening is too

Looks amazing, would be spectacular to see this on the road.Mezzanine said:
Not so great for those of use who neither have or want an Instagram account, as we can't see it.YouTube is the place for video.

And for short, unedited snatches of easily digestible video, YouTube is absolutely not the place.
Plenty of people on here who follow this thread might not be aware of Lexspace’s Instagram account and could find it useful. Others might also just choose to watch it with interest without feeling the need to complain it’s not been served up to them on their own very specific plate.

You don’t need to want or have an Instagram account to watch it, simply click on the latest post and watch it if you want. Or if you don’t want to, then don’t.

I can't get past the login screen on desktop? (and I don't use PH on my mobile - and neither do I have FB or Instagram installed on my mobile) - so if people are allowed to view it on mobile without logging in - then there must be some app allowing access? And for short, unedited snatches of easily digestible video, YouTube is absolutely not the place.

You do know it's not mandatory to post pictures of your dinner and follow the cast of Love Island?
I've got an account set up purely for car based things. I only post photos / videos related to my Lotus, the modifications I've done to it etc. Likewise that account only follows other cars and projects that I'm interested in.
As previously stated, for short 5 - 10 second clips it is far more suitable than Youtube.

Why don't you just set up an Instagram account then?

Because I don't want (or even need) anything other than email and web browsing on my phone. I'm happy to miss a few seconds of video every now and then. You do know it's not mandatory to post pictures of your dinner and follow the cast of Love Island?

I especially don't want any Facebook related company having access to my contacts / location etc.
I had expected this video to be a couple of minutes long but evidently not, so I'm not bothered about not seeing it.

You haven't missed a lot from that video, although it does sound nicely woofly after it rolls past I would certainly be grateful to you, OP, if you could continue to post updates to this thread and not just Insta pleeeease!

And great to see it moving, even if it does mean using an evil megalomaniac controlled spyware app like Instagram. As the wise fellow suggested, much better to use a platform that wouldn’t dream of tracking your activity, like Alphabet owned YouTube.

The important bit is that YouTube videos are generally public - so you don't need to sign up to view them. And great to see it moving, even if it does mean using an evil megalomaniac controlled spyware app like Instagram. But Instagram seems to require a user account for everything?
For widest exposure YouTube makes more sense.

I'm just security conscious and don't trust any Facebook related app on my phone. And I have zero interest in Instagram.TonyRPH said:

I have managed to get a few jobs done recently on the car , firstly i bought a new drivers seat , its nothing special , just from ebay , but its comfortable and looks good enough and is far better than the espace rear seat i used to mock the steering and pedals up with.
Fitting it was quite simple once i had worked out how to do it and positioning of it and thankfully the position when sat in it is very much how i wanted .
I have also relocated the battery to next to the drivers seat in the center of the car.
As the weather was pretty good this morning i decided it was time for a first drive - a very short one , out of the garage to the end of the drive, turn around and back into the garage.
With the car now facing the other way i will be able to work on finishing the front end , fitting headlights , bumper , grill etc .

It felt good to drive her for the first time, if a little unusual in the middle !
I have taken a few photos with my std Espace and my Lexspace back to back , they show how much lower it is now.
Once again there's plenty to do but today's another milestone
