Now i admit to a small amount of bias here ;-) however i still think the Gen1 RS's are very good looking cars and they have aged very well indeed! Looks terrific biggrin

Renewed my insurance with need to insure yesterday got a food deal & the cars now classed as a classic!!! Realised that the focus is now older than my first Rs turbo was when I got it yikes
Cars coming home tomorrow bounce just need to order a couple of tyres for the front & then it will be taxed for the 1st looking forward to being able to use it again as its only covered 40 miles since November yikesyikes
Also the wife bought me a private plate for Xmas which is going on biggrin

Lovely car fella, looking at an RS to replace my GTA which is now up for sale and reading your threads has most likely been the deal clincher for me smile

Just something though, I tried to register on RSownersclub but they don't alloy certain email address, do you have an email address that I can email to so I can get on and posting?

Tbh I don't bother with the rsoc as it had become far to biased & political on there I now use http://www.focusrsec.co.uk/content.php its a fairly new & small forum but its got a good bunch on there.

Once you find a car get its build no & look here http://www.focusrsbuildlist.co.uk/ its full of good info on the majority of mk1 Rs focus have fun thumbup

Finally got my kw coilovers fitted yesterday bit forgot to take any pics rolleyes
I was a bit concerned about affecting the cars stock ride as it is very good but wow!! The car feels the bumps a bit more but not to the point it is uncomfortable & it handles so much better, haven't driven it far but already very impressed smile

Ive gone for v1's as I didn't need the extra adjustability the v3's provide

Great thread - love these RS's, so much better looking than the current one. One of the best changes to the car IMO is the number plates, your old ones looked very tired and it's amazing much they can detract from the overall look of a car.

Hope you enjoy another 100k in it! thumbup

Great thread, thanks for posting. Always admired these from a far but the age put me off - looks like I had nothing to worry about!
