I just love how you added a 100 shot of nitrous for good measure
It really takes a set of steel cojones to push the button. Here is a better shot of the trunk.

Thanks, here are some shots of the car running. Matt was keeping it out of boost until he cen get the driveability sorted out.

Got Ethyl out for street tuning yesterday. She decided to show us who was boss and proceeded to kill the entire Alliance Air Show and Goodguys car show. All Matt and I had to do was get her to the right intersection at the right time. On the up side, we heard some cool insults, some of which are anatomically interesting though most likely impossible. Saw several vintage firearms and a couple of nickel plated Saturday night specials. I'd estimate we had 10,000 cars blocked for about 10 minutes. Once her point was made she fired right up and continued on the 60 mile journey home. Enjoy the video, the reason for the grey was I had ducked a 22 caliber pistol shot and dropped the phone on the seat camera side down. A couple of people from the Goodguys show followed us over to the nearest lot to tell us she sounded good. Three bikers came over to whip our ass.

Sorry, some Texas Humor. The Dallas area is rather famous for gunplay resulting from road rage. I guess the only difference between us and the Russians is they have more cameras mounted. If you have ever been delayed by some car broken down in the street you will know how easy it is to get angry at them.

Street Tuning, massive changes in fueling

right at 15 seconds you can see the belt disintegrate. The tensioner pulley slipped and the belt got into the bracing.

Took some advice and moved the mounts horizontal. Theory being if upside down, then they would still work

Also modded the exhaust a bit to better accommodate the Ford 9 inch.

Doing a lot of driving to work out the low end tune and driveability. I really am enjoying the car as the tune gets more dialed in. Last week we worked on the exhaust that was hitting in some areas and we replaced the OEM Starter at 100,00 miles with a PowerMaster High Torque starter. Those mods alone increased the driveability of the car remarkably. Nothing special in these vids but they do give a sense of the way the car handles.

Moar wheel shots.. Also mounted the second fire bottle horizontally, just have to reconnect the nozzles and that will be complete.

We started out to build the car as a street car. The sound system and air conditioner are still in it and still function. We put the current roll bar in to develop a reasonable package for other streetable cars like ours. I wanted to get the car up and get it going with a full interior and all the accessories functioning. Once I get a couple of good passes down the track I will pull out the sawsall and start saving weight.
