I much prefer the old ones, but I can't help but wonder if part of that is down to the photo quality between the two shots. The 'old' photos look much nicer.

Old ones for me too, sorry to be negative on your purchase though!

New ones are nice but they don't seem to work on silver... or is that just me?

I'm not feeling the love!!
I reckon it's the quality of the second photos. I'll get some proper ones up tomorrow!

Those new wheels aren't up to much, a bit "Bradford city centre" for my taste. The originals look way better.

It's not the quality of the photos, the 20" ones look gash, especially combined with the lowering. You've managed to cheapen what was nigh on a £90k car.

No offence. biggrin

Old wheels are still in the garage and will be put back when I get bored!

For me its the fact that those style 20"s are are on just about every fkin base spec non-AMG Merc out there. I avoided them like the plague when selecting rims for my E55.

What you really want is some of these:

Genuine split rim AMG's with gunmetal centers. Bliss.

I think they're actually a really nice wheel, just every idiot in his VAG family saloon near me has them on which kind of takes away some of the love for them!

This.

Nice looking wheels and lovely CL (never got the negative comments about you lowering it, looks spot onconfused) but I think the new ones would look better on a darker car.

Hey it's your car, if your happy, then that's cool smile

Love the new wheels, you can just about get away with them thanks to the rear light design.

I would have probably gone an inch smaller, to keep the wheel size in proportion with the wheelarches, but I know you like to be noticed.

Sorry but I much prefer old ones, new ones are a bit "flash". Saying that, they still look nice and dont "cheapen" the look of the car.

not sure why theres so many negative comments. they may be rep's but they are still designed for Merc's, to say they give an aftermarket look is a bit stretched tbh. Think they work very nicely. The same pair (albeit 18") are factory specced for the cls grand edition i've got coming through and they look great.

Much prefer the originals. The latter look a bit.... "Asianish" I say this as they are hardly chav but have a certain Khan-ness to them.
