Now finished and being used for track days, this is my Hyundai Coupe F2 track car.

Standard 2.0 litre 137bhp engine, NGK V-Power Spark Plugs, Vision Motorworks 10.2mm Silicone HT Leads, K&N Panel Air Filter (soon to be replaced with Pipercross cone), OBX Silicone Radiator Hoses, lightweight racing battery

40mm SPAX Lowering Springs, OMP front strut brace, Ark Racing rear alloy strut brace, custom centre brace

EBC Blue Stuff brake pads all round, HEL braided brake hoses

Fully stripped out (inc. sunroof mechanism & sound deadening), 2 reclining bucket seats, four-point harnesses, racing steering wheel


The intention was to eventually get it race-ready (cage/extinguisher etc) and enter it into the Hyundai Coupe Cup. The rules do not allow engine modifications other than the ones done (and the Pipercross filter) hence I haven't made many changes under the bonnet! It will be some time before I can use it for racing though, I'm trying to find out where the money will come from!

So for now I am using it for track days but its handling has impressed me a lot. I took it round Brands Hatch in the summer and it showed up a few of the higher-powered cars in the corners!
